What a great turn out with 24 Corvettes, which saw 7 ladies at the wheel. When we arrived at the Petro-Canada for our departure, the NB Jeep club was grouping at the same location - they were likely thinking, I hope we don't end up on the same route. Not likely.
We visited the Albert County Museum in Hopewell, the Old NB Bank Museum, with a great tour guide and a wealth of information, the Shipyard Heritage Park/Anderson Hollow Lighthouse in Harvey Bank, then to the Parkland Village Inn in Alma for a wonderful lunch.
On our return trip to Moncton, some made a quick stop at the Train Museum in Hillsborough, which, unfortunately, was closed, but a good place for photos and a stretch. Then 2 couples stopped at an antique store for a quick tour of what the gentleman had to sell.
I believe everyone quickly got over the nervousness of the women driving, since they all can drive as well (and in some cases better) than the male partner - particularly when it came to parking. Great job ladies - we will do it again.
