Present: Roger and Angela Bourgeois, Rick and Helen Estabrooks, Roger and Leontine Boudreau, Dave MacPherson, Don MacAulay, Bob Richard, Dave Fyffe and Tina, Tom and Teri Osler, Scott Mullin, Trueman Copp and Margaret Mayes, Mike Connors, Ray Cormier and Darlene Estabrooks, Bob Cormier, Gary Gaskin, Al Trahan, Wayne Coster.
Vice President Roger Bourgeois welcomed all to the meeting.  Marc was unable to attend.
Minutes of March meeting to be corrected as donations collected at Speed Sport are to be shared between Autism and IWK and Lounsbury's in Bathurst has agreed to cover costs for Greet and Meet pizza and wings for Bathurst weekend organized by Evelyne. Motion made by Ray seconded by Bob Cormier to accept minutes with corrections, all in favor, motion carried. (Evelyne advised that rooms were booking up quickly with only 5 from our club booking, other clubs had been advised of the event and she was trying to book a second block of rooms at another hotel for the weekend.  Some members advised they did not receive the email and would be forwarded another copy)
Financial Report:  Presented by Tom Osler, credits $547.66, debits $568.53, outstanding $200 for Bathurst weekend balance XXXX.  Motion to accept as presented by Roger Boudreau and seconded by Leontine, all in favor, motion carried.
Bills for Payment:  Tickets for 50/50 Angela for $10.35, motion to accept Teri seconded by Roger Boudreau, all in favor, motion carried.
Mobile Oil purchased by Angela if not reimbursed directly to her by Quad C, bill will be presented at next meeting.
Roger Bourgeois presented Treasurer with Sponsorships in the amount of $1930 further $800 still waiting for receipt of payment.

Rick advised he has received information from Go Daddy Canada on cost to transfer and keep for 5 years amount approx. $1063.05.  Moved by Dave seconded by Angela that Rick makes contact and have this done, all in favor, motion carried.  Rick will pay and submit bill at next meeting.
Roger advised he will need cheque for calendars, provided by Tom.
Old Business: 1) Calendar layout has been received, reviewed to correct any errors and update car details where necessary, Roger advised he will contact Marc and Advocate Publishing with corrections and hopes are that calendars will be  ready for sale at Speed Sport East.  Cost $20 each.
2)  Don gave an update on plans for Speed Sport East, 12 spots have been guaranteed, all cars that are entered are lined up, Angela has agreed to do the registrations, Dave has arranged hot wheel cars to hand out and Costco chocolates with Club logo, Tom and Teri are distributing the 100 soccer balls; will have club registration forms and collect fees.  Donation jar will be available for IWK and Autism and Don is looking for pamphlets from Autism. Calendars will be available for sale.  Volunteers needed for set up on Thursday and through weekend.
Membership Update:  Teri advised we have 94 paid for 2023 season.
New Business:  1) Calendar of events reviewed and updated.  St. Andrews weekend will be deleted for this year.  Details of events will be updated on website by Rick.
2)  Angela provided update of her attempts to reach representative from Autism to present cheque.  After discussion, motion made by Angela seconded by Margaret that amount be given to Camp Triumph.   All in favor, motion carried.
Next meeting May 1.
Meeting adjourned at 8:38 by Angela.
Winner of 50/50 in the amount of $31.50 was Bob Cormier.

Present : Marc and Sandra Melanson, Dave and Kim McPherson, Rick and Helen Estabrooks, Don MacAulay, Roger Bourgeois, Roger and Leontine Boudreau, Bob and Monica Richard, Richard and Carrie Anne Rioux, Scott Mullin, Gary Gaskin, Derwin Cooling and Debbie Legge, Ken Cameron, Tom and Teri Osler, Ray Cormier, Tim Cameron.
President Marc Melanson welcomed all present and thanked everyone for coming out on a stormy night.
Minutes of last meeting were on website and had been forwarded to all member this week by email.  There being no reported errors or omissions moved by Roger Bourgeois and seconded by Carrie Anne they be accepted, all in favor, motion carried.
Treasurers Report: Detailed report provided by Treasurer Tom Osler, credits $395.48, debits $705.39 closing balance XXXX.  Motion to accept Rick seconded by Dave, all in favor, motion carried.  Treasurer reported bank charges going down as banking being done once per month.
Bills for Payment:  Roger postage $21.16 and ink $26.43 moved by Rick seconded by Carrie Anne to accept, all in favor, motion carried.
Rick $137,31 for Go Daddy moved by Richard seconded by Roger, all in favor, motion carried.
Roger read a written request from Evelyne Valotaire for funds to cover door prizes for Bathurst weekend she is planning for September 22 – 24.  Motion by Roger for club to send $200 seconded by Rick, all in favor, motion carried.  She has advised that our sponsor Lounsbury's has agreed to cover pizza and wings for Friday night Greet and Meet. Once funds received from Lounsbury's by the Treasurer that cheque to be sent to Evelyne as well.
Bill from Motor Sports Hall of Fame received by Bob Cormier forwarded to Roger.  This has already been paid.   Roger advised the club has been given a brick at the museum for our 10 year membership to the Hall, picture to be posted on Facebook page.
Membership Update:  Teri Osler advised we now have 81 signed up and paid.  It was agreed that a last reminder will be sent to have members renew their membership and that those not renewed by the end of Speed Sport East week will be dropped from the emails thus requiring Teri to send from one list only.
New  Business:  1)  Marc advised NAACC Presidents report had been received.  Will be kept with minutes, of note, the value of insurance for club functions.  We are  members of NAACC and Quad C where we pay insurance to cover executive members.
2)  Roger provided details of planning meeting held Feb 19,23, with 7 people attending.  Rick will add details to calendar.

May 20 – Day trip to Dover and Campbells Carriage house in Sackville – Angie organizing.

July 5 – 9 Atlantic Nationals will include at least one day trip
July 14 – 16 Vette Fest in Yarmouth

More emails to be sent out to confirm dates and book rooms or some may wish to plan day trips.
3)  Speed Sport East – Don advised Lounsbury's has 500 bags being made to hand out, he has all cars lined up he believes, there will be a donation jar for Autism and he has requested and received volunteers to help out with set up and tear down. He requested a budget of $300 and if more space provided by organizers of event he may request further $200.  Motion by Don seconded by Tom for Don to receive $300 all in favor motion carried.
3)  Random computer draw made for 18 cars to be featured in our 18 month calendar with 2 additional for the cover done by Marc with assistance from Richard. 300 to be ordered to start. Marc to place order for calendars.
4)  Rick requested that he be given permission to contact Dave's contact for Go Daddy Canada to see if it is possible to switch to Canada from US.  Permission provided.

A great time together.  There was food, great games, lots of laughs and even some skill testing.  Thanks to Scott Mullin and also Carmen Schwartz, we had an authentic driving simulator.

Here are the details about the upcoming trip to the Campbellton area.

Saturday:
Departure:  at 8:00 a.m. from McDonalds, Magnetic Hill, Moncton
    Mid morning stop:   quick bio-break at Tim Horton's, Douglastown
    Arrive in Bathurst:   noon lunch until a 1 o'clock departure (lots of options for a quick lunch)
Departure:  1 o'clock from Bathurst
    travel to Port de Beldune for tour
    travel to Bois Jolie (Eel River Crossing) to visit The Landrich Fabrication Facility
Depart:  travel to Hotel (if you have not already booked, see email below sent in February)
    Dinner at the hotel restaurant

Sunday:
Departure:  leave hotel at 9:00 a.m. (you will have eaten breakfast and vette will be full of fuel)
    travel to Miguasha, Quebec, to visit the Museum of Natural Resources (please view their webpage)
    following tour, travel home.
