Lounsbury Meeting Room 7pm
Present :  Bob Cormier, Betty Mae Madden, Ed LeBlanc, Carrie Ann and Richard Rioux, Scott Mullin, Darlene Estabrooks and Ray Cormier, Helen and Rick Estabrooks, Tom and Terri Osler, Mary and Paul Coxon, Roger and Angela Bourgeois, Margaret Mayes and Trueman Copp, Sandra Arsenault and Marc Melanson, James LeBlanc, Monica and Bob Richard, Dave and Kim MacPherson.
President welcomed all to the meeting and advised he was happy to see the large attendance.
Minutes of April meeting were read by Secretary and there being no errors or omissions motion to accept by Angela and seconded by Mary. 
Old Business:  1)  President advised that on April 8 he had privilege of meeting Bill Doherty with Roger at his home.  They talked about this years show and some of the new parking structure.  Pre 1985 cars in the main parking area and newer clubs up top.  He reassured the Moncton Corvette Club would have its usual spot and the cook area for our sponsor.  Bill advised us that if you paid for 2020 or 2021 event and were not able to attend you are not to register again for this year, you would be transferred to this years event but this is the last year those would be accepted.
2)  Speed Sport - April 21 Thursday morning all 13 cars were present and ready to go in.  Due to a few trailers inside the move in was slowed but all were able to park quickly once inside.  Lloyds installed the drapes and carpet also two archways which really made the display stand out.  Thankyou to Don and all who helped out from the set up of posts and chains to handing out bags (300 plus to show goers), and a big thankyou to Lounsbury's.  A few club members received awards for their cars and congrats to those members.  We raised $699.30 for our charity, Autism and won second place for display which was $400.
3)  Saturday ACCC (Atlantic Corvette Club) met at the Lounsbury boardroom to provide update from each club and advise of plans for upcoming year.  Present was NSCC – Ivan Hines, PEICC – Errol Callbeck and Kingsley Lewis, River Valley Vettes – Wanda and Marc, Corvettes of Southern NB were not present but notes were sent by Sylvia Blanchard. Of note PEI event this year would be a cruise on Saturday followed by breakfast on Sunday morning.
4)  Calendar will be worked on by Marc and Bob. (Fundraiser)
5)  Margaret advised that she wanted to thank Bob for all the work on SpeedSport with making the stands, he then advised he had help in the painting from Roger and Angie and in transporting 52 stands to the event and recognized all the work don Don MacAulay setting up and organizing the event.
6) Angie advised that she was able to obtain contact for Melody Dobson who has taken over the Autism position and she plans to meet with her this week to finalize details for BBQ for the Nationals.
Treasurers Report :  Provided by Tom Osler.  Opening balance of XXXX, membership deposits of $422.74, 50/50 $26-Speed Sport $400, Autism donations $699.30. Debits - Quad C $400, Admin Supplies $38.75 Closing Balance XXXX.  Moved to accept report made by Roger and seconded by Marc, all in favor, motion carried.
Bills for Payment : Bob $504.12 for SpeedSport, he advised he had received cheque for this from Treasurer but did not cash as this bill was more than expected.  Motion to pay this bill made by Ray seconded by Mary, all in favor motion, motion carried.
Motion from the floor made by Ed that the President be allowed to spend up to $500 as petty cash without waiting for a meeting to be accepted by membership.  After discussion about the change and perhaps change to constitution motion withdrawn as this was already the accepted practice.
Sponsorship cheque of $1000 had been received from Lounsbury's and this provided to Treasurer by President.
Membership Update :  Provided by Mary as of April 27, 113 members and 20 welcome letters had been sent with letter from Lounsbury's.  As this total is different from what was provided in April minutes there is still work to be done with the registrations being sent to her.  More work will be done to correct this for next month.  President thanked Mary for the report.
New Business:  1)  Website update – Tom will contact Frank by email and in person regarding the work to be done.  Frank has received no money except to be reimbursed for the SSL to GoDaddy.
2)  Virtual Calendar – Bob will email out to all membership.  Rick will update calendar when website done.  June 25 to be taken off calendar for now as Rick is not available at this time to lead the Fox Harbour Tour.  As of now we have two planned activities for May. 
21st Roger is leading outing to Saint John Reversing Falls with lunch at the falls and 2 hour tour of area email to be sent by Angie to Terri to send out to membership to confirm lunch attendance. 
May 22 Miss Teen Pageant in Dieppe – Bob to send email with request for  RSVP for those who are willing to volunteer their cars, 24 needed.
Possible May 15 outing to Aulac and around shore (Port Elgin, Shediac and back to Moncton) Bob will be taking run on May 14 with another group that have cars lower than ours and will know the road conditions before hand.
3)  Secretary asked the Treasurer if cheque had been sent to NAACCC for the dues, he reported it had been done but not put in financial report as cheque had not been cashed.
4)  Secretary asked President is any update on Campbellton trip he advised he had received email from Carrie Ann which he would send out to membership.
5) Ed provided update of Knights of Columbus Breakfast, our table is still available, and a breakfast was scheduled for May 15 and that date our run could start off with the breakfast. Email to be sent by Bob.
6)  Margaret motioned that we change our charity after the Nationals to IWK, for the Nationals the BBQ could be Autism and then the donation jar at the registration table for IWK, seconded by Angie, as majority were in favor motion carried.
7)  Mary advised she is willing to order clothing, hats and name tags from Doyles.  There being several new members who are in need of Corvette apparel and name tags an email will be sent to members once pricing confirmed.
8)  Angie advised she was notified of the passing of Leander Gauvin's mother, she will send a card from the club.
9) Draw for the picture donated by Don MacAulay done for those cars who participated in the SpeedSport weekend made.   First was Don MacAulay, as he donated the picture a second draw was made winner Roger and Angie.
Next meeting scheduled for June 6, 22 at 7pm at Lounsbury's.
There being no further business meeting adjourned at 8:06 by Angie.
Winner of 50/50 in the amount of $34 was Bob.
