Greater Moncton Corvette Club
January 04, 2016      7 PM      Lounsbury Meeting Room

The regular monthly meeting of the club was called to order by President Roger Bourgeois who  welcomed all those attending with Happy New Year.  He thanked  Libby Rayworth for her many years of service to the club as recording secretary which was greeted by warm applause.
Louise Fyffe will serve in this capacity for 2016. 

The December minutes were accepted as read.

Old Business:
a) Steve and Marilyn Whalen and Ed LeBlanc were thanked for their work in making our Christmas party a great success for all those attending.  Two hundred dollars was realized from the Chinese auction and all those who donated items were thanked.
b) As per December motion, Angie purchased 5 turkeys for the Sue Stultz Turkey Drive.
c) The December 20th breakfast had a low attendance (6).
d) Membership note — Kim and Ed Slade have been transferred to Newfoundland.  We wish them well in their future.

Financial Report:
a) The financial report was accepted as presented showing a current balance of $______.
See report attached to the file copy of these minutes.

b) Bills for payment:
   i)Angie Bourgeois for turkeys ($75) and postage ($8.50) for $83.50 total

   ii) To join Maritime Motor Sport Hall of Fame for 2016 at $100
Moved: Wornick Price   Seconded: Angie Bourgeois      Accepted
We can expect the registration form for Quad C within the next month.

New Business:
a) The next breakfast gathering will be held on January 17th followed by a 2016 program planning meeting.  All members are welcome to this meeting .  Roger will determine the correct date of the Windsor, ON show before the meeting.
b) The newsletter from Maritime Motorsport Hall of Fame was read by Roger Bourgeois.
c) Paul Dunn has created a photo book from the 2015 season and will investigate what the cost will be for multiple copies.  Those who are interested are to contact Paul.
d) Ed LeBlanc noted that the latest Fast Past had an excellent spread from GMCC thanks to Angie and Paul.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 PM followed by the 50/50 draw which netted $15 for Paul Dunn.
