PEICC
Presented by Errol Callbeck, with Events Coordinator, Kingsley Lewis.
Good morning everyone.  Nice to see everyone and have winter in the rear view mirror!  Thanks to the Moncton club and Lounsburys for again allowing us to use the boardroom here.
Quick recap of our winter- our Christmas party in November at Razzy"s Roadhouse in Charlottetown.  We had great attendance at the party and a nice evening for our Christmas gathering!  Our next get together was in January for our annual Barrett Jackson pot lunch party.  Dionne and I hosted the group at our house.  Wonderful evening with a good sized group to watch people spend lots of money on some beautiful vehicles!  The Barrett Jackson Pot Luck has become a consistently well attended event, and we look forward to having it again next year!
In February, we had our Valentine's Day meal as a group at the Merchantman Pub in Charlottetown.  They had a private room for us, which was great for socializing.  Harold and Pauline took care of getting some little take away gifts for the ladies in attendance as well!
In March, we had a club breakfast at the Blue Goose in Desable, which is owned by members Tery & Carla Robblee.  That was well attended and we intended to do another breakfast in April, but that has not happened.  Probably my fault as I still do some tax work, so never gave it the time to organize something.
We do regular Wednesday evening meetings in the nice weather months, so those will likely start in May or early June depending on the weather.
Last year was out first attempt at returning to PEI Vettefest, with a one day event instead of two.  I believe our club really needs some more members to re-boot the enthusiasm if we are ever to go back to a two day event.  With that in mind, this year will be a very similar format to last year.  On Saturday, June 22nd, we will follow a similar format as last year.  We will meet a Confed Bridge to leave for a tour – still finalizing lunch/destination stop.  Then the evening meal will be at Glasgow Hills golf course again as we had a lot of good feedback on the meal/location/view/parking there.  They are going to change up the menu a bit, but probably three options like last year.
On Sunday, we are not going to have an actual car show this year.  There is plenty of those to go around and many people seem to enjoy the driving/eating/gathering more than the car show itself.  Last year, we did a couple of breakfast meet options without thinking that many places have breakfast included with their room, so there were not many that came to breakfast.  If there is interest to do a breakfast meet, we would be happy to do that.
We hope lots of you can make it over as we really appreciate the support we get from your clubs.  As a small club, our visitors make the weekend.  We do get lots of positive feedback from people that see our group touring on the Saturday and find that is the most fun part of the weekend.
As a club, we have not returned to pre-COVID membership numbers so we do need to focus on getting people back involved in the club.  Any ideas we can steal from the rest of you are appreciated!  We currently have less than 20 membership families.
We hope to have some representation at all the other Club shows this year, and we thank the organizers of each show – we know and appreciate the work you put into your event.
We don't have any long trips planned for the summer of 2024, and I don't think we have anyone from our club signed up for the 2024 Corvette Caravan yet (Ivan can correct me if I am wrong).  Dionne and I will not be making the caravan this time, but having attended three of them – we certainly hope to do it again in 2029!

Good morning to all attendees.  Our Executive for 2024 is as follows:
President: Wanda Gadd (gertrude4278@gmail.com)
Secretary:  Leanne Robertson (l.m.robertson7511@gmail.com)
Treasurer:  Julia Patriquin (vjpat6@gmail.com)
We have 38 registered members, having acquired 2 new members last year (2023-2024).
Our schedule has been set for the summer with attendance to our regular car shows.  Two new shows have been added which are May 25th, Fredericton High School annual Spring Classic Scale Model Show.  Their theme this year is Corvettes, therefore our club has been invited to display our cars.  Please add this to your summer runs and lets show up in support of the high school tech class.  If interested, I will forward the accompanied poster.
The 2nd new show is also to benefit a high school student who has put together a car show on May 26th to submit for a class mark to graduate.  I also have a poster to accompany that show.
On a sadder note, we lost 2 members last year, John Garwood and Patricia Smearer.   As mentioned last year, John Garwood and Harley Smearer had been diagnosed with a terminal illness.  John succumbed and ironically, Harley's wife unexpectedly passed.    Also, Kelly Kelly had been in the hospital for a serious operation, if anyone would like to send well wishes, her email is as follows:  kellysquared3@hotmail.com.  I'm sure she would love some well wishes.
We have an annual Christmas party, the 3rd Sunday in January.  We meet regularly on the 3rd Sunday, monthly, for breakfast.   We also meet through the summer for an ice cream run on Tuesday nights.
Have a great summer, drive safe, and enjoy your ride.
Wanda Gadd, President, RVV

CSNB:
Hello & welcome everyone from the other clubs.  I hope everyone had a good winter.
Our last meeting of the year was in November with our annual Christmas Party in December.  Our first meeting for this year was our April meeting, held last week, in which Dave McMenoman (Vice President) chaired, as I was South for the winter.
A quick update on our membership of 60.
Our major sponsor is again Coast Tire.
We have our events calendar updated and underway for the season.  We have also added a feature to our events page, that is open for event suggestions as the season progresses.  We had a nice gathering for a brunch, over the winter months, that everyone enjoyed, and another planned before the cars come out.
Our usual monthly Wednesday night cruises are planned.
Plans are fully underway for our annual Moon Glow & Poker Run, September 27th & 28th.  The registration link is posted on our website.  Accommodations and other details will follow and be sent to everyone once the details get confirmed.
Our newly elected executive for 2024:
President:  Sylvia Blanchard
Vice-President  David McMenoman
Treasure: Carol O'Brien-Boucher
Secretary:  Jeff LaFrance
Going to try to change Facebook so others can post.
We look forward to another great season!
Sylvia Blanchard, President, CSNB
