As most of you are aware, we have a trip planned to Windsor,
> Ontario, in June this year. The purpose of the trip is
> to attend a large Corvette show. The preliminary plans
> are as follows:
>
> We will leave Moncton on Sunday, June 5th at 7:00 a.m. with
> our first overnight stop in Boucherville, Quebec. We
> proceed to Trenton Ontario on June 6th, for a two nights'
> stay to permit us to visit the area with Dave & Donna
> Case (this is one of the couples who spent time with us this
> past summer). On day 4, we will stay & visit
> Niagara Falls. Day 5 sees us overnight in London, ON
> and day 6 we arrive in Windsor. Here we will be joined
> by Pat & Glena Olsen (who also spent time with our club
> this past summer), as well as other members of their
> Corvette club.
>
> The Corvette show will take place on day 8, June 12th, in a
> gorgeous area across the river from the GM Towers in
> Detroit. We will sleep in Chatham, a little drive
> after the show. On day 9 we will drive back to
> Boucherville, Quebec, then home.
>
> I've made contact with all the necessary hotels and rooms
> have been blocked. The exception is the accommodations
> in Windsor, as the local Corvette club is making the
> negotiations for us and will let me know. I
> have not made reservations for day 9 and the return home yet
> but that will soon be determined. Of those rooms
> blocked (day 1-9), we have 12 rooms with 2 beds,
> non-smoking. Rooms range from $80-129 per night, plus
> taxes. Most include breakfast.
>
> The Corvette members from Ontario, that will meet up with
> us, will be taking us on a few tours while in their
> area: the Welland Canel, a distillery, a
> winery, Niagara Falls, War museum, car collection, whatever
> time permits. If you know of something along the way
> that you think is worth visiting, please let me know.
>
>
> I don't want to send out email updates to those not able
> or wanting to make the trip, so if you are interested, even
> if you aren't definite, please let me know. NOTE:
> email by end of March to me at: corvettefun@rogers.com
> and not Paul (we are keeping him busy enough as it is).
>
> Thanks all
