Greater Moncton Corvette Club
Minutes of February 6, 2012
The February 6 meeting of the Greater Moncton Corvette Club was held in the Lounsbury's Meeting room with the following members present: Rogier & Angie Bourgeois, Leontine & Roger Boudreau, Jacques and Monique Bossey, Alfred & Zelica Landry, Pat Roy, Wornick Price, Dwight & Libby Rayworth, Dave Fife, Annette & Gerry Warren, Bob Surrette, Paul Dunn, Mike Lipton, Brent Crawford, Gary Gaskin, Steve White, Gary Butler, Daryl Crossman.
The January minutes were approved as read.
We will meet on March 10th at 3:00 p.m. at the Lounsbury's meeting room to update our Corvette photos on the wall. We will be going to Pizza Hut after for supper.
Wornick will head up Speed Sport again this year. So be sure to speak with him if you are interested in putting your car in the show.
A card of thanks was received from Bob and Janice. A donation to the Autism Resource Centre was made for Romeo and Nora on the passing of her brother. Sympathy was extended to Gerry and Annette on the passing of his niece.
Financial Report
Bills for Payment
3 Turkeys - $75.71
New Web site, 3 years - $221.16
NAACC Renewal of Membership - $75
Our balance to date is ______.
Motion: It was moved by Wornick, seconded by Angie that the financial report be accepted. Carried.
Wornick reported that we have 45 paid members to date.
New Business
February 24 – 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Wine and Cheese Party at Brett's Showroom, Rothesay Avenue, Saint John.

We will renew our membership to Quad C again this year.
Fast Past Magazine is looking for articles to publish. Roger read us notes from the Maritime Motorsport Hall of Fame Newsletter. Motion: It was moved by Angie, seconded by Leontine that we renew our membership to Maritime Motorsport Hall of Fame. Carried.
GMCC is hosting bowling again this year in Dieppe on March 25. We will pay for the pizza and collect money for the bowling. Bowling will take place in Dieppe at the Bowlerama, Gauvin Road from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Steve passed out a draft Calendar of Events.
Motion: At 7:40 p.m. there was a motion to adjourn. Carried.
Leontine won $19 in our 50/50 draw.
