The Greater Moncton Corvette Club was cordially invited to participate in the River Valley Vettes' first run of the year.  Although we left Moncton under the threat of rain, we decided the adventure was well worth a dirty vette.  Only Roger & Angela Bourgeois participated, although early predictions were that there was a lot of interest.... guess some just don't like to clean their cars after a run.
We met up with the Fredericton group on Prospect Street for a 10 a.m. departure.  The group travelled to Woodstock to meet up with our tour guide for the area, Danny & Karen.  After a quick stop for lunch at Tim's, the ladies were dropped off at the arena to look over the huge craft show.  The men continued on to check out a fine mid-year, along with a hot rod restoration.  If you think you have a fantastic garage, you'd have doubts once you'd see what this guy has.
After picking up the ladies again, having given them an hour or so, we travelled to the Longest Covered Bridge in the World at Hartland.  After many photo opportunities (and please check what is available on the RiverValley Vettes web site), we continued on to a tour of the Covered Bridge potato chip factory.  What an interesting tour ... and treats too !
Then it was on the road again to our final destination, diner time in Woodstock.   So, after a wonderful day of driving roads  that we have never travelled (yes, the sun did come out), and views that were incredible for this time of year, we followed the group back to Fredericton and then onto Moncton, arriving home at a reasonable 7 p.m.     The pictures attached don't do justice to the great adventure.
