Greater Moncton Corvette Club - Minutes of April 7, 2014

The regular monthly meeting of the Greater Moncton Corvette Club was held at 7:00 p.m. on April 7, 2014 at the Lounsbury Meeting room with the following members present:  Roger Bourgeois, Charles Gould, Wornick Price, Dave & Louise Fyffe, Alfred Landry, Ken Cameron, Ed LeBlanc, Gary Butler, Paul Dunn, Steve & Marilyn Whalen, Chanel Michaud, Steve White, Don MacAulay, Brad Hamilton, Gary Gaskin, Mike & Jeannie Lipton, Ed Slade, & Dwight & Libby Rayworth.

Nick Hansen from Hansen Signs was present to give us a presentation on his product Clear Coat XPEL Paint Protection film.

Financial Report
Wornick presented the financial report.  Our balance as of  March 31 is $         .  A copy of the financial report is attached to a file copy of these minutes.  Motion:  It was moved by Wornick, seconded by Steve that the financial report be accepted.  Carried. 

Bills  -   Angie - Magnetic name tags - $220.    Motion:  It was moved by Dwight, seconded by Wornick that this bill be paid.  Carried.

Speed Sport East -   Move in will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m.  Eight cars will be in the display.  Dwight will pick up the stanchions, rope and banner from Wornick's garage in Salisbury for Thursday and return them on Sunday.   Motion:  It was moved by Wornick, seconded by Ken that Dwight be reimbursed $50 for gas and a pass for Sunday.  Carried.

The Atlantic Corvette Meeting will be held on April 12 at 10:00 a.m. at the Lounsbury Meeting Room.  Everyone is welcome to attend.

New Business -
Kevin Trites' dad passed away.  The Club made a donation to the Autism Resource Centre in his memory.

Correspondence was received from Treadware Canada and was passed around to members for information.

As usual, discount cards were received from NAACC for renewal of membership for 2014 and were passed out to members present at the meeting.

Motion:  It was moved that the meeting be adjourned at 8:00 p.m.

Roger Bourgeois won $21 in our 50/50 draw.
