HATE2W8

The weekend started out a little damp, for the Corvettes, not our spirits.  Some folks crossed into the US on Wed, for the avid shoppers, and the rest came along on Thursday & Friday.  Fifteen Greater Moncton Corvette Club Corvettes registered for the weekend, taking home the Club Participation award.
Two evenings of "meet and greet" really got everyone into the partying mood.  A great piano player at the Bluenose kept us entertained until bedtime.  Oh, and a few games of L-R-C had some happy folks go home with some 25 cent coins.  Congratulations to the winners.
The weekend weather could be described as sweater/jacket weather, but it was perfect for touring downtown Bar Harbor and walking to restaurants.
The Saturday Corvette display saw an array of beautiful Corvettes - old and new.  Great job everyone for keeping the cars clean.
Then the banquet rolled around.... what can I saw.... I have no words to describe the apparel, the laughs and the great food that would give it all justice.  Those that loved to dance certainly had an opportunity, and closed the place down.   The party bus was a hoot as well.
Then Sunday was a leisurely drive home for some.... Dave Gates, Bob Cooke and Glen Martell MAY have made it home ahead of the others, which was a surprise since they left last. Needless to say, no carbon build up on those injectors.

Thank you to the members of the Vettes of Coastal Maine for putting on a fantastic weekend.    Tons of pictures on Facebook (Greater Moncton Corvette Club and Vettes of Coastal Maine)
