Ricko

Greater Moncton Corvette Club
Feb 1, 2021
Video Chat – 7pm

Present – Bob Cormier, Roger and Angela Bourgeois, Rick and Helen Estabrooks, joining by phone Wornick Price.

President Roger Bourgeois welcomed everyone.  Hoped all were healthy.  Advised  we don't have a big agenda, as much is closed due to the Covid 19 pandemic and vettes were put away.
Executive for the club stays the same for 2021, with the exception of the addition of Tom & Teri Osler who have volunteered to help out in some way.  Thank you.  Plans will be made to include them in our March meeting, Bob Cormier to reach out and make the arrangements.

Minutes of previous meeting can be reviewed on line.

Financial Report:
Treasurer Wornick Price advises that the current account balance is XXXXX.   All annual bills have been paid (memberships in organizations related to the car world, insurance coverage for club, Web page expenses).
Motion to accept financial report made by Rick Estabrooks.  All were in favour of accepting.
Bills for payment:  Wornick has a bill for $55.18 for printer ink.   Motion to accept this bill for payment by Angie Bourgeois.  All were in favour of payment.
President has an envelope of paperwork (membership renewals, deposits, etc) that will be dropped off to Treasurer on Thurs.   He will include membership information for payment of Canadian Council of Corvette Clubs, due this month.

New Business:
1)  Received CCCC meeting minutes for November.  Some shows are still listed as planned for 2021, but likely will get cancelled as the months come along.  Our show, with the Atlantic Nationals, is still listed but President will be attending a virtual meeting with the CCCC executives on Feb 6th and will confirm that our show is cancelled for 2021, so that folks won't make plans to attend and then get disappointed.  Vaccines are only at 1-2% in New Brunswick, so likely only about 10% will be done by June/July.
2)  Our calendar of events on the web page will not be updated until we have planned events.  At the moment, nothing is planned for 2021.   We can't travel out of Zone 1 in New Brunswick at the moment, and likely restrictions will still be in place for some this summer.  Activities will be similar to last summer with nothing planned to far in advance keeping in mind all Health Canada guidelines.

Next meeting to be scheduled by video chat Mar 1, 2021 at 7 pm.

There being no further business meeting adjourned by President.

Helen Estabrooks
Secretary

Roger Bourgeois
President
