Lounsbury Meeting Room 7pm
Present: Marc Melanson, Rick & Helen Estabrooks, Don MacAulay & Debbie MacPherson, Darlene Estabrooks & Ray Cormier, Dave & Kim MacPherson, Roger & Angela Bourgeois, Richard & Carrie Anne Rioux, Dave Fyffe, Tom & Teri Osler, special guests Darlene Pugsley, son Luke, and Cassidy Gordon representing Camp Triumph.
Meeting opened with President Marc Melanson welcoming everyone to the meeting.
 Angela welcomed and introduced our guests Darlene (whom members would remember from her 30 plus years with volunteering with the Autism Resource Centre), her son Luke, and Cassidy, present counsellor, with Camp Triumph, a place where kids with a sick family member get to be kids again.  Darlene and Cassidy gave a heartfelt and very personal presentation regarding their and family experiences with this camp located in PEI.  Marc presented donation cheque for $1353 to the organization.  Contact information for the camp Kathi Sheriko Director and Co Founder, phone 902-542-7439, email kathi@camptriumph.ca.  Pamphlets were left for club members looking for more information.
Minutes of the April meeting to be corrected as Treasurer advised there was no outstanding cheque made out to Autism, this to be removed from minutes, minutes accepted with this correction, all in favor, motion carried.
Financial Report: Treasurer Tom Osler presented report, opening balance XXXX. Credits $3973.13, debits $20.01 closing balance XXXX.  Moved accepted by Angela seconded by Richard, all in favor, motion carried.  Sponsorships of $850 collected by Roger and given to Tom to be reflected in May report.

Bills for Payment:  Rick for GoDaddy $1063.05. moved to be paid by Roger seconded by Teri, all in favor motion carried.
Membership Update: Provided by Teri, current membership 101 paid.  Email list for 2022 now obsolete and emails will be sent to current 2023 members.
New Business: 1) Don will provide bill to Lounsbury for $600 for registrations for Speed Sport East, Angela will provide him with the invoice.
2)  Motion made by Angela that the $200 received by the club for award with Speed Sport East be divided among those who incurred expenses for this event, Dave, Don, Roger and Trueman, seconded by Roger all in favor motion carried.  Those at the meeting declined to accept.
3)  Angela made motion, considering they're not accepting that the $200 be donated to Camp Triumph, seconded by Carrie Anne, all in favor, motion carried.  This cheque to be added to the one presented tonight.
4)  Speed Sport East donation jar collected $1704.80 for IWK and Autism.  Wendy MacDonald of MacDonald Corvettes wished to match so they will provide cheque in the amount of $1700 for Autism and club donate $1704.80 to IWK - Child Life, cheque to be provided to Angela in this amount to be sent.
5)  Cheque from Quad C for $160 made out to Autism will be presented at June 5 meeting where representative, Catherine Jose, has agreed to attend.  She is expected to provide an update regarding the BBQ for the Atlantic Nationals.
6)  Angela made motion that at Lounsbury Show on June 10 all money raised be donated to Autism that is donation jar and 50/50. (Catherine Jose has agreed to attend and be present at the registration desk), the 50/50 from the Atlantic Nationals be donated to Camp Triumph and the money raised from the Christmas party be donated to Pe'pire Boite a Lunch.  Helen asked if the Sunday 50/50 from the Nationals could be kept for expenses for the Christmas party, so no member would have to pay expenses out of their pocket.  This was added to the motion, Saturday 50/50 to Camp Triumph and Sunday 50/50 to be held for club Christmas party.  Seconded by Teri, all in favor, motion carried.
7)  Angie provided update to fundraiser/auction of Mobile oil provided by Quad C, winner and only bidder on all 4 jugs Charlie Richard.  Money to be given to Treasurer when received.   
8)  Roger provided update from the Atlantic Corvette meeting held at Lounsbury on April 22nd.
9)  Email regarding Charlottetown trip to be sent this week so members can book accommodations.
10)  Speed Sport East recap provided by Don who advised he believed to be the best show ever.  He received help from many volunteers, 150 soccer balls were given away, over 400 cars and 150 bags from Lounsbury.  Thanks to all who attended.
11)  Update on calendars being produced as club fundraiser for IWK and Autism provided by Marc.  The bump out on the bottom to highlight our charities and major sponsor will cost $400 more, this expense being covered by Marc.  All corrections have been made, calendar to be ready for Lounsbury show.
12)  Update to calendar for May 20 event - may be a drive only as Carriage House and Distillery in Sackville may not be open as Angela has not been able to make contact yet. Don will check with Alpaca Farm to see if they ar3e able to accommodate group, check for emails.
13)  Rick to add to calendar every Sunday 6pm weekly greet & meet at Dieppe Canadian Tire, all funds raised for charity PAW (animals).
